We hired Tammy because of her wealth of experience & her business savvy.  Those qualities ended up being crucial in our sale.  Tammy put together a great website & presented our house from it's best angle.  She advised us with good strategies as to how to market the house to try & get the most value quickly.

We were moving across the country, & doing so with some time constraints due to work.  The process started about as well as one could hope, with a quick visit & an offer at asking price.  It looked to us like it was settled.  Then, for reasons out of our control, the transaction fell through.

In our situation, moving across the country with young children, we started to feel a good deal of stress when the next few visits didn't result in an offer.  Tammy stayed calm, & was decisive & strategic.  Eventually another buyer came along, & Tammy was excellent in negotiations.  She made sure we got good value although we were pressured for time, & she made sure everything was properly worked out, including the details of the deal.

I first came across Tammy Colbow when I was looking for a property in Stony Plain and she happened to be the representative for the property I wanted to inquire about.  I contacted my daughter Christine, who is a business owner in the area, and mentioned Tammy's name.  She immediately recognized it and told me she has an excellent reputation.  As I am currently working in B.C., Tammy was able to show the property to Christine while face-timing me in real time.  While I didn't purchase that property, the experience was enough to know that Tammy and I were on the same page.  Eventually, I found a property and purchased it with the fantastic help of Tammy.  My appreciation goes beyond the story of the purchase alone, it has much to do with going above and beyond.  With me being an out-of-town buyer, Tammy was instrumental in guiding me towards a reputable property lawyer, providing city and property information that only someone entwined in the community would or could know...and even a recommendation towards an appliance service and repair company!  A ton of questions from me with very timely responses and expert guidance by Tammy (and her assistant Jenny Hewko) made the entire purchasing and follow up process quite professional, seamless and straight forward.  I would highly recommend Tammy and her team to provide you with an equal experience.

Selling our acreage had some very stressful times, but thankfully we had the best realtor.  Through unfortunate circumstances and such high interest rates, we had 3 deals that fell through.  One of them was a real headache and stress for us, but Tammy did all she possibly could to smooth things over...and even more!  Her support, positive attitude, and knowledge got us through the bumps and hiccups, and when they right buyers came, she made sure everything lined up and as stress free as possible.  We are so grateful to have had such an wonderful realtor.  We have been and will definitely continue to recommend her.  Thank you Tammy!

Thanks for everything you did for me in helping me find my new home. This was unchartered territory for me in a lot of ways so the advice and your professionalism was so helpful for me. We looked at a few places that had you not pointed defects to me or shared your insight on how things could be a problem down the road, they would have gone unnoticed by me. You showed me over and over again that you were not just in it to get a sale under your belt and really took the time to find the right fit for me. I’m also appreciative that once we negotiated the deal and things were finalized you still made yourself available to answer all of my questions. You were always quick to respond and always had additional info on each showing that we looked at which told me you did your homework. My situation was not the easiest to work around in the beginning with freshly being separated and not having my ducks in a row so to speak but the patience you showed while working with me was awesome. I didn’t feel any additional stress in a time that was super stressful to begin with. I don’t know anyone that couldn’t benefit by using your services or help when looking a new home or selling an existing home so you have my endorsement and I will not be afraid to recommend you to anyone that I know is looking to buy or sell. When we decided to end our quick stint being landlords, we asked around for someone who could help us sell our mobile home.  Many were not interested because it is a weird market and often a complicated sell.  As soon as we contacted Tammy, she was open and honest about what needed to be done to get it sold.  This meant trusting that selling the trailer empty would be ideal.  It was scary to put so much trust into someone we didn't know and base our trust on the fact people we respected loved her.  So we took the plunge and worked hard at leaving the mobile better than we found it.  It was hard to hear that the market had lowered, but Tammy was honest, compassionate, and authentic in her explanations and encouragement.  Our house was shown, pending, and sold less than a month and we are beyond grateful.  Realtors scare us and often can come off like used car salesmen.  Tammy is not that way.  She actually cares and is not just interested in her bottom line.  Definitely give her a call when you are hoping to buy or sell your next home.
